Description
Armchair "harp" designed by jørgen høvelskov in 1963. This copy was made between the late 1970s and early 1980s by christensen & larsen (denmark). He has remained in the same family since and to this day. Manufacture in ash wood with nylon ropes. Assembly of the 2 parts that make up the three legs of the structure by a metal screw invisible at the back. The wood is raw, unlacquered or varnished. This object has some signs of wear such as: 1 slight poque. Some superficial scratches. 5 to 10 holes caused by woodworms. A subtle cleaning and sanding would restore all its andan luster! The seat is ergonomic and very pleasant. The armchair produces a slight cracking sound at each seat as the wood works, which reinforces its vintage side. It is a very beautiful object that represents a certain footprint on the ground but no visual clutter because of its total "transparency", and which will also prove useful and comfortable, unless you simply want to exhibit it as a work of art and decoration, a function that it also fulfills wonderfully!.
