Very beautiful pair of salt shakers in silver 925 thousandths decorated with friezes of pearls resting on four leafy feet ending in windings. They have their indigo blue glasses. Rare, these two salters have their two original spoons in shell shape. The handle features rosettes and windings surmounted by an acanthus leaf. The oval-shaped salerons feature the hallmark of the french goldsmith antoine cosson, who worked during the second empire (napoleon III era) between 1851 and 1879. The hallmark features his name a. Cosson surmounted by a feather (resembling a clover), a star below. Very nice quality and very elegant work of the second half of the nineteenth century. Ideal to fill your exceptional table.
