Description
Period: ca. 1st half 20th century. A beautiful pair of four-armed candelabra adorned with an art nouveau rococo look. The arms, barrels and feet are adorned with swirling foliage and various floral motifs. The bobèches are shaped like flower petals. The rings that form the edges are not fixed but are held in place with the candles inserted (one is missing). The metal is very heavy; it is a silver-colored metal that was patinated with a black color and then painted with a gold color. The style is an eclectic mix of asymmetrical, neoclassical rock patterns, but the swirls on the feet give them an art nouveau look. State: Very good. Signs of use and patina corresponding to age. One of the rings is missing, but it is not noticeable unless it is reported. Size: See photo.
