Reproduction in porcelain biscuit of a bust of a child of brongniart alexandre after jean antoine houdon. The architect alexandre-théodore brongniart, famous for the construction of the paris stock exchange (palais brongniart) the portraits are finely made, and designed in contrast. He turns his head in the opposite direction. Alexander is dressed. Messy hair for the boy. The originals were acquired by the louvre museum at the end of the nineteenth century. These 2 busts are made of biscuits and rest on a blue porcelain base, highlighted with gilded nets. Stamped below porcelain, limoges, france.
