Beveled mirror Henri II in white

This magnificent mirror will transform an interior, it alone exudes a beautiful presence. An essential object of the mid-nineteenth century, this mirror is a magnificent illustration of the very particular technique of changing the wood using a special saw (bocfil) to make it more airy, and above all as original as it is unique. There is like a form of animation in these lines thus created, like so many lifelines. In the upper part, its pediment is of course in this spirit and allows a rather stylized slenderness. Topped by this splendid pediment with lion decoration quite exceptional and rare in this state, this mercury mirror, is also beveled, and, barely spotted, just enough to testify to its age and authenticity (circa 1900-1910). The whole was intended to be placed probably on the deck of the chimney. From now on, it will harmoniously adorn a living room, an entrance, a bedroom, a bathroom... It doesn't matter where it is, actually. It easily adjusts to your interior especially since it is now dressed in a white patina. Hung, as originally, or placed on the floor, it adapts to your desires. There is in this mirror a form of elegance that will only seduce lovers of beautiful old works. The openwork sculptures, the magnificent pediment (easily removable if you prefer to remove it), the white tone that makes it a timeless mirror and the fact that it is still extremely well preserved, will transform the room where you put it.
