A very rare poster of eric lipinski from 1959 for the movie "base of the dead". The poster is in perfect condition, it is signed and dated in print. The film was shot on the basis of marek hłasko's story "next to paradise" about drivers driving a dilapidated truck in bieszczady, because they can't find any decent job. They dream to make some money and run to the city, but on the other hand they know that there is no place for them. When "zabawa", sent by the party with his young wife, arrives at their base, the drivers begin to look after her and compete with each other. The creator of the poster is eryk lipiński, author of posters, book illustrations, caricaturist, satirist, founder of the warsaw caricature museum. Lipiński was born in 1908. Lipiński's poster works resulted in awards and distinctions. He was an important figure in the international poster biennale in warsaw - the initiator, participant and curator of the first competition. In 1978, he founded the caricature museum in warsaw, where he took the position of director until his death, and his own collections became the cornerstone of the collection.
