Postmodern burnt orange and black ceramic cookie jar by rometti, italy

Made in italy, 1960s - 1970s. This cookie jar is labelled and signed by rometti italy. This item features a central spheric part that is divided on its median, which separates the base and the lid. This part has a cylindrical pommel and lays on a cylindrical base. Its function and capacity have been outclassed by its design that has a modern shape and that was perfectly in line with the products and tastes of that time. This is a vintage piece, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in perfect original condition and ready to become a great decor item in any room. Literature: M.
