Neoclassical style mirror with knotted ribbon crest & flowers

Period: 20th century. The overall style of this large oval mirror is neoclassical with the ribbon tied at the top. The crest is also adorned with three-dimensional flowers and wavy leaves. A bead frieze surrounds the inner edge. The frame, although it looks like a gilded wooden frame, is made of resin that has received an impressive patination work. A clever application of gold, brown and green hues give the frame an aged metal look with a greeny effect. Status: good. The glass is perfect. There is a small crack at the bottom of the frame, but this does not affect its structural strength in any way. Dimensions: 86 cm high, 52 cm wide, 3 cm deep, ± 6 kg.
