Expandable Scandinavian rosewood dining table by CJ Rosengaarden, circa 60's

Vintage dining table, scandinavian, expandable rosewood from rio, designed by erik buch for c.j.rosengaarden (denmark) of the 1960s. Closed, the round shape of the table rests on a fantastic carved pedestal and has a diameter of 120 cm. Once opened, the pedestal is divided into two halves, transforming the table into an oval, almost "capsule" shape, resting on 2 pedestals ending in "v". The table has 2 extensions of 50 cm each. With the addition of an extension cord, the length is 170 cm. With the second lengthening, the length becomes 220 cm. Can easily accommodate 8 to 12 people. The table is in excellent original condition, light signs, signs of use and patina on the feet and pedestal. It has been very well maintained and cared for, which makes it almost unbelievable that it has been used for almost 60 years. The pedestal is removable. The coin is stamped. Bonus it will come with its original foldable protections (4 pieces, see photo). Delivery included with selency.
