Mid-century dining table, vintage rosewood extension with butterfly extension table, 1960'

Vintage extension dining table, round, scandinavian-modern style, from the 1960s. This beautiful table is made of wood with rosewood veneer and a lacquered finish on the top, tapered legs, and a butterfly extension of 48.5 cm, allowing it to go from a round shape and an unopened format of 120 cm, to a 168.50 cm oval shape, to comfortably seat between 4 and 6 people (please see photos for variations.) To open and extend the table, simply unlock the 2 hooks under the table top, gently slide to open and slowly unfold the butterfly extension, then gently guide each end to the sheet, until it is firmly in place. Then lock the table top with the four hooks (two under the tray and two under the extension). The table is in very good original and vintage condition, with some slight traces of use, marks and signs of age proportioned to time, as well as a patina of time, on the top, the border, the leaf extension and the legs. (please refer to the close-up photos where we placed a 1 cent coin, for perspective.) The legs of this table are removable if you need to move it from one room to another.
