Wooden chest

Harmonious proportions and artisanal and rustic manufacturing for this small chest. Since it comes from the attic of a very old bakery, I suppose it was to be used to knead and keep sourdough over the days. Made of beech wood and given his great age, he suffered attacks from xylophageal insects. It was treated with injections and then brushed with a mixture of flaxseed oil and turpentine essence, and finally, a good stroke of encaustic! The removable lid is a little cracked but it won't move.
