Coffee table extendable 'Swinefleet'

A quirky model for the connoisseur! Something different as a coffee table. Does the standard vintage coffee table not suit you. Do you go and dare to go for something special. Then consider model "swinefleet". Directly from england and designed and made there in the 60s. A very special frame has been designed from full teak and teak veneer with a tile pattern consisting of very beautiful tiles on a hidden extra sheet that together show a larger representation. This table was used on weekdays as a table with a "wooden" top, as you can also see in the photos, on special days, and on sunday you could extend the table and thus enlarge it. By sliding both wooden tops back a bit and then putting them in their lock, a unique table is created where the tile work forms a fantastic centerpiece. Thanks to a clever construction, the wooden tops fit perfectly against the tile tableau, almost seamlessly even. The whole is very nice in finish and model, certainly not commonplace and therefore also perfectly suitable for the real gourmets. The size is generous so that there is enough space, under the top you will also find a space for all your reading material, designed exactly in such a way that it is not too prominently visible when you are watching tv on the couch. Due to its sophisticated design, this table is beautiful to look at from all sides, playful lines are combined with sleek elements, a fine example of mid century design. The whole is a used, but very well-kept original condition, there are of course traces of use visible, that can hardly be otherwise with a user furniture par excellence. We do not experience the traces that the test of time has left behind as disturbing, take a look at the photos yourself and you will quickly draw the same conclusion as our team.
