Cesca b32 chair by marcel breuer. This edition has a chrome steel structure, a "natural" varnished solid beech frame with a backrest and seat in natural beige canework. By creating the Cesca chairs, Marcel Breuer sought to better celebrate the tubular steel already used for the creation of the "wassily" which led him to this cantilever seat which will be one of the most copied models of the 20th century. The cantilever shape exploits the unique possibilities of tubular steel and gives the chair more flexibility and comfort. Condition: the canework of the seat has probably been redone. There is no defect in the canework. The wood has been patinated by time and shows some normal wear (see photos). The chrome is in good condition, some wear on the underside. Two chairs available.
