Space Age Sputnik coffee table

It came to us like a sputnik, and for us who track originality the pleasure of discovering such a nugget is total. Without chauvinism we give back to our neighbors and friends across the rhine the paternity of this superb coffee table space age of the 70s. This chrome sputnik coffee table with a glass top was made in germany in the early 1960s. The base has six chrome-plated metal balls connected by a flat rolled steel structure. General visible condition good, glass edge slightly damaged (see photo). (designer marking absent).
