Wooden amboine cut

Amboine / vintage wooden bowl. The exotic wood of amboine or kiaboca is considered to be one of the most beautiful ornamental wood. Its rich and capricious veins of reddish, white, pink or yellowish design embrace in a multitude of very fine knots which cross in a thousand different ways. This wood with a very fine grain is used as a root or a magnifying glass such as a magnifying glass of elm, yew, alder, maple or ash. In very good shape. Handmade. Height 7.5" Diameter 4.3".
