Armchair with rattan & bamboo tablet - vintage

This small piece of rattan and bamboo furniture includes an armchair (or bench) with a shelf and a niche under the shelf. Formerly used as a "telephone corner" (the telephone directory was housed in the niche), it generally enthroned in the entrance in the 80s. Its color is bright, unlike some old bamboo & rattan furniture of a very dark brown. It is in good condition. The rattan that surrounds the bamboo pieces have signs of aging (see close-up photos), which in no way alters the strength and stability of the whole. It is sold without a cushion. In the presentation photo, it is a rectangular pillow of common dimensions (40x60 cm) and which makes the chair very comfortable.
