Description
Beautiful and important inkwell written in gilded bronze louis XV of the 19th century, very hectic in the style of rockery, decorated with volutes, flowers, leaves of open acanthus, shell, godrons... In good condition. The gilding is gold leaf with slight traces of natural grey green given its time. It features 2 inkwells with hinged lid and 2 removable crystal glass buckets for ink and a compartment for the necessary to write. The back part can hold the mail. Ancient traces of black ink on the inkwells (edge and lid) and on the side. Beautiful work typical of the 19th century. Very neat and followed shipping.
