Vintage globe 1950 terrestrial Girard Barrère and Thomas - 45 cm

Huge old world map in cardboard and aluminum of the brand girard and barrère circa 1950 in good condition. The map is patinated but the colors are bright, it displays gaps in the atlantic ocean. The aluminum base is nickel. The globe is not dated but we find the former colonies of north africa, so it dates from the 50s. It measures 45 cm high for 34cm deep, the globe displays 34cm in diameter.
