Straw basket and old bramble "bourgne"

Huge old bourgne. Composed of straw and bramble, it was handmade. Originally from the charentes, these baskets were originally used to keep foods dry such as onions, eggs, etc. They have everything to please! Hyper decorative, they bring a touch at once ethnic, natural and refined; while being multitasking and functional! This one has an exceptional format, and I know it I put everywhere! To store toys, shoes, cushions, put wood for the fireplace, in a laundry basket... Very nice condition, it has been varnished and is ready for many years. Lacks of minor brambles and that's part of the charm.
