Vintage turkish oushak rug handmade low pile muted colors. These sturdy old knotted pile rugs come from the western anatolian region of oushak and isparta. They were made between 1940 and 1960. They have now been recycled to create a thoroughly unique, modern, and colorful floor covering. The pile on these old/new rugs has been pared back, the original dyes neutralized, then the rug over-dyed with deeply saturated single color. This silver/gray rug is a great room-size rug, very versatile, neutral, and suitable for many decors. * we rework all kilims before shipping ( head/end corrections, fringe creation, stretching, border correction, local corrections, re-cleaning, etc). We deliver it in perfect condition. * due to the nature of age, all vintage rugs might have slightly worn, faded, or have minor imperfections adding to the character of the item.
