Vintage School Box With Ten Rubber Stamps of Different Objects. Collectible Vintage Box of Stamps.

With this box I go back to my childhood, where at school I learned to draw and study with printed images of stamps like these. It was a very recurrent exercise and always very creative. That's why this box is so special to me. It's a beautiful game for children and adults alike. It is made in portugal by agatha - fábrica de material didáctico. A company that in the 50's produced school material for all portuguese schools. This box has ten stamps of different objects: the vase; the teddy bear; the teapot; the shoe; the school bag; the top; the pot; the doll; the football and the hat (see photographs). The stamps are made of national pine wood covered on one side with the rubber stamp. As you can see the box is the original and still preserves on the side the original label. As you can see on the photos the stamps have been used a lot, they are very dark and stained by the remains of ink. The wood itself is also very stained. The box is also very worn and darkened. The corners and edges are more damaged and have small tears, as well as being very stained from handling. As well as the interior which is very darkened, from humidity and also from the ink left on the stamps. This stamp box, is complete, despite its wear and use, the stamps are still very well preserved, besides being an antique object, it is in good vintage condition. Dimensions. Box. Length: 24 cm.
