French vintage heavy brass 6 light empire style chandelier

French vintage quality brass 6 light empire style chandelier dating from the 1940s. The chandelier is made up of a decorative central column with groove and leaf detail and two decorative hoop embellishments. At the top of the column is a large decorative hanging hoop and to the bottom a decorative finial. The arms are in a scroll design with acanthus leaf detail and lead to leaf shaped decorative candle drip holders. The candle drips have been replaced with new beige acrylic drips still in keeping with the chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a 3 link chain 1 of which is decorative a hoop and a large decorative cup style ceiling fitting. The light has its original french twin core wiring and takes 6 small screw in bulbs e14s. The brass is in good vintage condition with deep age related patina, some verdigris and marks to be expected with age. It has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. Due to size and weight the chandelier will be partly dismantled for shipping. Full reassembly instruction including photos will be included.
