The wood is protected with a matte colourless natural wax. It bears some stigmata of time but what a charm! It is an antique piece of furniture, carefully restored. However, it may have some traces of time that could not disappear (beetle holes but have been treated), but which do not call into question its strength or appearance. But this is also what makes its inimitable charm.
