Description
Ceramic tureen by yvon roy, montgolfier workshop in the 1950s, bird décor. Two cone-shaped handles and lid. Perfect condition, signed below. Located in durtal in maine et loire, montgolfier pottery was created by yvon roy in 1943, then taken over by robert de montgolfier in 1957 following his premature and accidental death. It employed up to 100 employees in the 1970s! Still active today it turned to tableware for the catering trades.
