Description
Hand beaten, stainless steel plate from lakeland rural industries, borrowdale in the english lake district. Started by friend of john ruskin in the 1800s, lri was created as a reaction to mass production. Each piece was handmade originally in copper, but by 1933, mainly in stainless steel.
