Very small scorched band in the upper margin, very good condition. Margin dimensions included: 370 X 270 mm. This sumptuous stencil, printed in colors and gold highlights on beautiful wove paper, signed benito, comes from the prestigious and luxurious advertising brochure for max furs "the last persian letter", paris, draeger, n.d. (ca 1920). This booklet, laid out by michel zamacois, was accompanied by 12 drawings executed in the persian taste by eduardo benito. "one of the finest examples of draeger's achievements (...) twelve superb lithographs by benito, on strong paper, finely enhanced with gold and stencil colors, represent models of persian inspiration, in the pure style of the twenties".
