Baumann desk and children's chair revisited

If charlemagne had this crazy idea, one day inventing the school, it was without counting on the baumann house and its playful furniture, which accompanied generations of kids in their dreams of escape and recreation. This mythical ensemble, consisting of a desk in which to store his math books (or his little secrets) and a chair in every way identical to the adult version, will be the best ally of the parents when the dreaded time of homework comes, thanks to its cheerful and colorful tones. The office and chair were completely sanded and then renovated. The raw beech parts were highlighted by a colorless oil. The exterior of the desk is painted in little greene's dock blue and the interior in a mustard yellow from chez ressource. Its tray is protected by a satin varnish. An oeko-tex certified fabric comes to dress the bottom, creating a nice surprise effect at the opening of the desk. The chair is painted in a celadon green from ressource also, and is protected by a satin varnish. Touches of colour on the desk bars and the legs of the chair punctuate the whole. Note defects in the seat of the chair. The height of the latter: 37 cm.
