No Monogram or typical bands to the brand. It systematically surprises by its discretion, manufacturing quality, the originality of its function and the warmth of his leather. In 2 words class of discretion, the classic with the warmth of the leather. Very rare model as a result and by its wide volume entirely dedicated to clothes in contrast to the many models including drawers, storage etc... Also rare by its angle leather and not metal like on other cases of this kind. No change has been made, everything is 100% original. It is serial number 026412 on the lock and a label inside the Paris address and London. In the lower part labelled with "Pauillac - Midi via Bordeaux St Jean" and another label stating "Paris Quai d'Orsay n ° 1458" Recalling the time when the Orsay Museum was still a station per se... Some traces which testify of the time passing but in excellent condition. I bought this trunk to a professional of the trunks a few years ago and separated with sadness due to move. -Can be used vertically or lying as coffee table (I used it as an ornament in a room.) -Closing borders leather - leather handles - brass Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk I bought this years ago in trunk has shop dedicated to high quality trunks and now unfortunately I must sell before moving it. I used it as decoration in a bedroom. You will find no. typical Monogram nor stripes on this genuine leather Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk. But connoisseurs would know the Monogram and the stripes came late in the history of Louis Vuitton so it tells something of the history of the trunk and the brand. Everything is 100% original on this trunk. It never disappoints the curious visitors, most people notice it because of its shape, the warmth of the leather, the quality of the seams. And the surprise comes as you open it up and reveal the interior. Honestly the Louis Vuitton label comes almost last... It's a no-show off / delightful moment... pure distinction in my opinion and year aficionado piece of art... But what stands this trunk apart is not only the lack of stripes and monogram leather finish we the hand panels and on the corners, more the size of the compartment 100% dedicated to dresses or any other type of long clothes. Quick description: The exterior carries brass and leather trim with looped leather handles, the interior features vertical hanging rails, with lift-up lid and door and 4 inside straps to hold the clothes during the journey. Some signs of the passing time but everything is functional and in very good condition. It carries stickers naming the train station of Pauillac, Bordeaux, Paris when the Quai d'Orsay still was used to have a railway station, before it became a museum. It features the number 026412 on the lock and inside another label at the Paris and London the adress of the brand.
