Boujaad rugs have a short to medium coat, they are handmade, mainly from wool and a few cotton threads occasionally. It can take a few weeks or months to finish a single Berber carpet, weaving techniques are passed down from generation to generation and the designs, designs and colours vary from one carpet to another, which always results in truly unique carpets.
