Sofa by Theo Ruth for Artifort, Netherlands 1955

Sofa 2 seats 107/2, designed by Theo Ruth (head of the Department of design from 1939 to 1971 at Artifort) in 1955 for Artifort. It is in perfect original condition and really amazing, it's almost as new. The beautiful fabric of Ploeg, named Kyoto and designed by Lewin Alcopley in 1955, is also in perfect condition. The sofa was more than 40 years in a bedroom and was not really used. That you see a lot, what a beauty! (Original) black lacquered beech wood has very minimal usemarks.
