This beautiful rug is from Beni Mguid in the Morocco Middle Atlas mountains is a true work of art made of dyed naturally soft wool. It is an absolutely exceptional piece that will add both beauty and the wow factor to any space. The color changes to a rich fuchsia to a purple faded with a broken diamond cream and Brown pattern everywhere. There are areas of the carpet that are rich enough and others very washed out. The photos show the representation of all the variations and have been taken in natural light. Coin photography was published, but no dramatic changes were made. The Beni Mguild tribe is native to the mountains of the Middle Atlas and traditionally made his carpet to protect the mountain winters. They were used to cover the floors even as blankets and cold when temperatures were at their bottom. Berber carpets were not made for production, but as parts functional to use for many years and passed down from generation to generation.
