Baumann series of 6 chairs

Beautiful series of six chairs model "Bémole" of Baumann commonly called slebpers. They were purchased by their former owner in 1971. The woodwork is beautifully patinoed by the years. The seats that were damaged were completely restored by a slightly grainy black skai upholsterer of the most beautiful effect. To be married with a Baumann table of course, but also with a glass table and why not a farm table? As you can see from a photograph, one of the chairs with exposed screws on the sides. A favorite for this beautiful series.
