Wassily B3 armchair by Marcel Breuer for Knoll

A Wassily Chair designed by Marcel Breuer and manufactured by Knoll. The original year of design of this chair was 1925, this particular chair was manufactured in the early 1980s. Made from polished chrome tube with leather seat and arms. The chair is in good over all condition.  The chrome is in excellent condition. The “chrome” leather is exceptional quality.  The leather is heavily patinated, the original factory colour of the leather being grey as show to the rear of the chair, however this has worn on the front of the chair to reveal the natural colour of the leather, being brown.  This gives a lovely worn effect all over the chair as some of the grey is still visible to the front of the chair, giving a wonderful contrast. Exceptional quality in lovely condition.
