Michel cadestin and georges laurent. Beaubourg chair, 1976. Steel and fabric. The final shape was created by cadestin and laurent and chosen as the winning chair . The building, designed by rogers and piano, became one of the most important buildings of the late twentieth century, ushering in deconstruction and postmodernism in architecture and design. Tubular steel structure, seat and backrest in electrogalvanized steel wire mesh, receiving removable cushions, held by steel ferrules (missed), covered with a cotton weave, all resting on a base called sled. The backrest and base are fixed by a nut system to disassemble and reassemble the chair completely. The fabrics are a bit stained and the steel ferrules are missing to hold them. In good condition and fabrics in vintage condition.
