Mirror skylight "Bull's eye" in zinc

Very beautiful skylight "oeil de boeuf" in zinc transformed into a mirror. Old and rare piece with a nice patina, which brings perspective and character in an interior. This opening typical of french architecture is honored in the seventeenth century by the architect françois mansard, hence the expression "mansard roof". He has the idea of bringing light to the top floor of parisian buildings thanks to the technique of shaping zinc roofing. This oculus will give a romantic atmosphere to a "shabby chic" decoration.
