Snowfall. Size: 41.5 X 67 cm (including frame) Oil on canvas. A beautifully detailed mid century winter snow landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas. A lone figure is depicted trudging on a pathway through a snow-filled landscape with barren trees and mountains in the distance. The painting has a delicate and gentle feel to it – captured through the use of a light and limited colour palette, as well as fine and intricate brushstrokes that have been meticulously painted to capture the transient conditions of snowfall in nature. This oil on canvas is a complementary light wooden frame. Both the painting and frame are in very good vintage condition.
