Writing desk by Illum Wikkelso

This exceptional writing desk was designed by Illum Wikkelso for P. Schultz & Co in Denmark in the 1970s. This large teak desk features two drawers at the front and plenty of workspace. It can be used from both sides due to its large size. The top showcases beautiful grain and an original patina acquired over the years. The surface is slightly recessed in the centre, but this does not hinder its use. The brushed metal structure is very sturdy and in very good condition. Three cracks in the drawer handles have been glued and restored, resulting in slight colour differences. The original locks of the drawers are present and functional, but the keys are missing. This rare desk is in overall good condition. (Lamp, decor, and office chair not included).
