Wim Rietveld Cabinet Model 663 for Gispen 1954

Beautiful modernist bookcase / cabinet / room divider, model 663, designed by wim rietveld in 1954 for gispen. Rare piece, it was in production for only a few years. Very hard to find and sought after nowadays, especially in such a good condition as this one. Dutch design icon. This modular bookcase can be adapted to your taste. The doors can be changed to other positions. The cabinet is free-standing, so it can also be used as a room divider. It has a gray steel frame and shelves. And it has colored (yellow, black, green, gray and red) doors, side- and back panels. A fantastic work of industrial art. The cabinet is in excellent condition. I've never seen one in a better condition, unbelievable after almost 70 years. The red front panel is slightly faded compared to the red side and back panel. For the rest only minimal traces of use.
