Large vase / jug in glazed ceramic produced by the Faïencerie de Thulin in Belgium, model 199. This piece features a very beautiful modernist silhouette with organic lines, characteristic of Belgian productions from the mid-20th century. The glazed decoration combines shades of caramel brown, chocolate, and smoky grey with stunning drip effects and texture. The asymmetrical shape of the neck and the integrated handle enhance its sculptural aesthetic, highly sought after today in Japandi, wabi-sabi, or mid-century modern settings. The underside bears the marking: “MADE BELGIUM FAIENCERIE THULIN” As well as the model number “199”. Very beautiful decorative presence. Dimensions: Height: 25 cm. Width: 17 cm. Depth: approximately 17 cm. Very good overall condition. There are slight signs of age and small firing irregularities consistent with period artisanal production. No cracks detected. Style: Vintage – Mid-century – Modernist – Belgian ceramics – Wabi-sabi – Japandi. Ideal for adding a warm and sculptural touch to a contemporary interior.
