Retro style glazed ceramic tile board

Period: ca. 1960s-70s this large painting of glazed ceramic tiles gives off a real atmosphere of the 1960s-1970s. It presents a reclining female figure holding a baby. It is made up of 10 rectangular tiles held by a thick oak support. The blue and green colors are beautiful and vibrant. This was clearly made to look like a stained glass window like you see in churches, and so the biblical connection to the virgin mary and baby jesus seems logical. Condition: good. The only damage is a discreet crack at the bottom right (see photo). Dimensions: 97.5 cm high, 19.8 cm wide, 3 cm deep, 3.2 kg.
