Table to write a systeme Dupont

Furniture from the second half of the 19th century in walnut with its original mark. The patented system allows the writing tray to be moved from left to right or vice versa (the foot and barrel on which it rests have an iron cast iron counterweight), raise it or lower it from 76 to 110 cm; it is a complementary mechanism to tilt the tray from the horizontal to the vertical (latching allows to pick up small fellers that come to block a document). This exceptional piece of furniture allows reading or writing to be seated, standing or lying down. Inclined it replaces a lectern or a partition door. The tray: 87x50cm and the ground wheelbase 60x44.
