1960s “Semi” hanging lamp by Claus Bonderup & Thorsten Thorup for Fog & Morup, Denmark

An eye-catching “semi” hanging lamp, the largest edition, designed by claus bonderup & torsten thorup, manufactured by fog & morup in denmark around 1960. This lovely elegant piece has a smooth shape that somehow resembles a waterdrop. This iconic piece of mid-century scandinavian design would beautifully contribute to any interior! It is made of black lacuqered metal with a white interior. The shape of the lamp allows it to emit a bright, wide light that makes it perfect for above a dining table, but can also function anywhere else in the decor. It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
