Unique bronze table lamp signed Ragnar Gellerstedt on the base, Sweden, circa 1930.

Unique table lamp in bronze signed by Ragnar Gellerstedt on the base, circa 1930, made in Sweden. In good condition. Very beautiful green patina. Three bacchantes encircle the stem of this lovely lamp, their bare feet balancing on its octagonal base. The lampshade appears to be from the same period, nicely matching the patinated surface of the bronze. Signed. Johan Ragnar Gellerstedt was a Swedish sculptor of the 20th century. This lamp was produced by the Herman Bergman foundry, which cast many bronze sculptures by Gellerstedt and his contemporaries. The dimensions of the base without the lampshade are 46 cm in height.
