Akari light sculpture model XP1 by Isamu Noguchi. The lampshade is made from handmade washi paper and bamboo ribs with the Akari maker's stamp. Isamu Noguchi's Akari light sculptures are considered icons of 1950s modern design. Designed by Noguchi in the 1950s, this vintage example comes from a later production from the 1980s that was still largely handmade by Ozeki, the original maker in Gifu, Japan, and bears Noguchi's stamp of authenticity. The lamp works perfectly with a new LED screw bulb installed. Dimensions Height 35 cm, side 23 cm Note several holes formed by the friction of the Washi paper and the almost invisible metal parts, hence the price reduction.
