Area 210 floor lamp designed by Mario Bellini for Artemide, 1970s

Vintage floor lamp named 'Area 210' designed by Mario Bellini in 1974. This floor lamp was manufactured by the renowned Italian company Artemide. The lampshade consists of a single flat piece of resin paper that has been deformed in a wave motion. This wafer-thin paper diffuses a soft and atmospheric light. The item is in beautiful vintage condition with light signs of use. These consist mainly of a few light (non-disruptive) scratches on the metal (see photo). At the bottom, the lamp is marked with the Artemide label and the notation 'patent pending' as proof that this is an early edition.
