Thyme botanical cyanotype

Thyme. Title: Cyanotype Thyme – botanical plate A5 "The Simple Ones" Description: Tiny leaves, woody stems, a scent of garrigue. Thyme has found its place in all kitchens and in our grandmothers' remedies. Its fine, delicate, and graphic branches are revealed here in white on a blue background. Original cyanotype on 300 g/m² paper. A5 format: 14.8 × 21 cm. Ready to frame (frame not included) Care instructions: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and humidity. An acid-free mat is recommended for framing. The process: Cyanotype is an ancient photographic process, invented in 1842 by John Herschel and popularized by Anna Atkins in her herbariums. The paper is sensitized by hand, exposed to sunlight or UV light, and then rinsed with water: Prussian blue appears and the plant stands out in white. Each sheet is handmade, so slight variations in shade and edges make each piece unique.
