Vintage french bronze classic empire style single wall sconce

Vintage french bronze single traditional empire style wall sconce. The back plate is in a traditional empire shape with decorative details. From the back plate comes a single scrolling arm with acanthus details leading to a decorative cup style candle drip holder. The candle drip is the hard plastic type and in good condition. The light is working and wired with french twin core wiring and take 2 small screw type e14 bulbs. The bronze has lovely aged patina, verdigris and marks associated with age. It has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish.
