2 old medieval style wrought iron landiers andirons

Very old pair of so-called cup andiron landiers made by an artistic ironworker in the 1940s. The cup doors were used to keep the soup or food hot while the ladies fed the guests. As is or after cleaning to remove rust, these wrought iron andirons retain a superb character. Very beautiful decorative object with real medieval history. I offer as a gift a large ember tongs length 70 cm (photo 3). Dimensions: height 60 cm, width 26 cm, depth 43 cm, unit weight 9 kg. Collection possible in Royan (17) against cash payment only.
