Antique green majolica oyster dish – Sarreguemines

Elegant ceramic oyster dish from the Sarreguemines factory, in green majolica, dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The dish features 12 shell-shaped cells and a central well for lemon or sauce. The intense and glossy green glaze superbly highlights the relief of the shells and plant motifs. Marked on the reverse: "Sarreguemines" (underglaze stamp, clearly legible). Dimensions: approximately Ø 32 cm (check according to your dish). Condition: Very good overall condition. Typical cracks from use of antique majolica, with no visible chips or major cracks. An authentic and decorative piece, suitable for a refined table setting, a collector's item, or wall decoration.
