Arty Vase West-Germany 50s

This small vase from the 50s is a remarkable piece of art. Its oblong shape and grey textured cover provide an elegant base for hand-painted graphic patterns. The inspiration of abstract painting in ornamentation adds a touch of originality and creativity to the whole. The use of bright colors, yellow and turquoise, abstract patterns, perfectly reflects the artistic style of the fifties. It is stamped foreign under the base (a bay keramik production for export). It is in very good condition presenting only 2 small lack of gray texture discreet on the base (see photo). Height: 21 cm.
